WHEREAS, Socrata has invited Deputy Director Jeff Nyberg to attend the Socrata Customer Summit Conference, a technology conference lecture series, on October 26 - 28, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Deputy Director Jeff Nyberg will have the opportunity to learn and gain new insights on key technology trends in the industry; and
WHEREAS, the organization has offered to pay for the costs of registration and travel expenses to the conference; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul find that attendance at the conference will be beneficial to the City in developing and implementing future technologies within the City, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of registration and travel expenses to the Socrata Customer Summit Conference, and thanks Socrata for its generous gift.
