Further modifying Area 1 Residential Permit Parking per the Union Park District Council request.

Whereas, Area 1 Residential Permit Parking was previously modified per Resolution 14-285 to accommodate significant commercial and mixed use development occurring in the area affecting both off-street and on-street parking for area residents and non-residents;
Whereas, Union Park District Council has worked with residents and businesses and is requesting Public Works further revise Area 1 to better serve residents and businesses in the area:
Resolved, that:
1. Area 1 street regulation on both sides of Hague from Snelling to Saratoga be revised from 2 hour parking 7am to 8pm except by permit to “2 Hour Parking 24 Hours a Day, Except by Permit” per the attached map , and
2. Area 1 street regulation on the west side of Saratoga from Laurel to Dayton be revised from 2 hour parking 7am to 8pm except by permit to “2 Hour Parking 24 Hours a Day, Except by Permit” per the attached map , and
3. Area 1 street regulation on the east side of Saratoga from Laurel to Selby be removed entirely per attached map, and
4. Residential addresses 1522-1564 Selby and 164 Snelling will be added to Area 1 Permit Parking Area and will be eligible to purchase 1 vehicle permit and 2 visitor permits per household
Resolved that these parking regulations shall be in effect and enforced 30 days after City Council approval or as soon as signs are erected, weather permitting.
