Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $8,613.13 for the 2014 Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant.

Body

WHEREAS, the Fire Department applied for and received a grant of $8,613.13 from the State of Minnesota for the 2014 Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant to provide training for firefighters, and

 

WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the grant received, and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $10,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2015 budget, and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additional changes to be made to the 2015 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this grant, and hereby approved the changes to the 2015 budget referenced in this resolution, and furthermore authorizes the appropriate city officials to execute and implement the attached grant agreement for the 2014 Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness Grant.
