Authorizing the Fire Department to accept a donation of $300 from the Saint Paul Fire Supervisory Association for Safety Camp.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Supervisory Association has offered to donate $300 to the Fire Department to support Safety Camp, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation from the Saint Paul Fire Supervisory Association, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to support Safety Camp which is being held July 9-10, 2015 at the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center, and
WHEREAS, Safety Camp is sponsored by the Fire Department, Police Department, Parks Department, and Regions Hospital to teach inner-city children between the ages of 6-12 years old, lessons in health and safety including fire safety, water safety, weather safety, personal safety, bike safety, CPR, and sports safety, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the residents of Saint Paul, accept this donation of $300 from the Saint Paul Fire Supervisory Association and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
