Purpose of Appeal: Cat 2 to Cat 1 - Materials on site & workers ready to start. Was never disclosed to me to be Cat 2. The scope of our project doubles anything that would be in report. Cat 1 allows for our permits to be pulled and wokers to start working. Thank you for your time.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Mark Mason to a Code Compliance Requirement at 1177-1179 SAINT PAUL AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council change vacant building status from Category 2 to 1 and allow permits to be pulled and need to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy issued before occupancy, noting that no vacant building registration is due until November 2015; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
