Title
Establishing a budget for the Lafayette Bridge project and amending the 2008, 2010, and 2015 Capital Improvement Budget (CIB) to complete the parking lot at 85 West Water Street, located adjacent to Harriet Island Regional Park.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation has developed a plan to achieve the next steps toward completion of the parking lot at 85 West Water Street; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Department of Parks and Recreation to amend the 2008 financing and spending budget to include $173,703.52 to be transferred from the 2010 CIB Lafayette Bridge project and $22,000 from the 2015 CIB Asphalt Renovation project; and
WHEREAS, the 85 West Water Street parking lot project was allocated $364,000 of Metropolitan Council grant funds for improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Asphalt fund will be reimbursed from future Metropolitan Parks C.I.P. requests; and
WHEREAS, the Lafayette fund will be reimbursed from future Metropolitan Parks C.I.P. requests; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and the advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $173,703.52 is available in the 2010 Capital Improvement Budget, and $22,000 in the 2015 Capital Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted by the Council, is hereby further amended in the particulars as indicated in the attached financial analysis.
