Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Vacant Building Fees billed October 28, 2014 to January 15, 2015. (File No. VB1508, Assessment No. 158812)

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 15-508 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Fees billed during the time period of October 28, 2014 to January 15, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on June 17, 2015 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessment is hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 15-283: 689 Bedford Street;
RLH TA 15-280: 750 Jessie Street;
RLH TA 15-277: 800 Park Street;
RLH TA 15-278: 766 Point Douglas Road South;
RLH TA 15-276: 1258 Rice Street;
RLH TA 15-272: 609 Wells Street;
RLH TA 15-290: 647 York Avenue; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
