Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of a 2006 Husqvarna Club Utility Cart from the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Team.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Team has offered to donate a 2006 Husqvarna HUV4213 Club Utility Cart valued at $2,000 to the Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation of the utility cart from the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Team, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide the cart to the Fire Department Training Division for on-site utility work and other uses as needed, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the residents of Saint Paul, accept this donation of the 2006 Husqvarna Club Utility Cart from the Saint Paul Saints Baseball Team and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
