Accepting the gift of travel and lodging expenses from the Community Design Center of Rochester for Mayor Coleman to speak at the Reshaping Rochester annual lecture series in Rochester, New York on April 21, 2015.

WHEREAS, the Community Design Center of Rochester, New York has invited Mayor Coleman to speak at their Reshaping Rochester, an annual lecture series, on April 21, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Coleman will speak about the collaboration of city staff and Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation staff in the Saint Paul Design Center and revitalization of the riverfront; and
WHEREAS, the Rochester Community Design Center has offered to pay airfare and hotel costs for Mayor Coleman; and
WHEREAS, the opportunity to speak at the lecture series will showcase the many initiatives Saint Paul has taken to revitalize connections with the Mississippi River, and will offer opportunities to learn from other speakers and participants about urban planning that focuses on sustainable transportation, energy efficient designs, and vibrant communities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of airfare and hotel expenses to be used by Mayor Coleman to travel to the Reshaping Rochester lecture series, and thanks the Community Design Center of Rochester, New York, for its generous gift.
