Title
Amending the financing and spending budgets in the Department of Public Works in order to transfer $63,000 from 2015 MSA Contingency into the Cayuga at Arkwright Street Improvements and Traffic Signal Installation Project.
 
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works constructed the widening and streetscape improvements along Cayuga and Arkwright streets as well as the installation of a traffic signal at the Cayuga and Arkwright/HealthPartners intersection in 2014, and
 
WHEREAS, the cost share of the project needed to be adjusted between the city and the three private partners because the construction work on Arkwright Street was more than estimated and the private partners did not participate in this portion of the project, and
 
WHEREAS, there is sufficient MSA budget in the MSA Contingency project to cover the amount needed to fully fund the Cayuga and Arkwright project, and
 
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer, funds of $63,000 in the Capital Improvement Budgets; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $63,000 is available for transfer in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars
