WHEREAS on January 7, 2015, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH TA 14-600, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building fees billed November 18, 2013 to June 25, 2014 for 480 Forest Street/942 Conway Street. (File No. VB1501, Assessment No. 158800); and
 
WHEREAS, the property at 480 Forest Street/942 Conway Street, being described as: Stinsons Sub Of B80 Lyman Day Lot 15 Blk 80, with the property identification number 33-29-22-31-0118 was assessed an amount of $1595; and
 
WHEREAS, the owner did not appeared for hearing but contacted our office to state that she wants the vacant building fee be waived or prorated as she had received her code compliance certificate since October 15, 2014;
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed the file and noted the property was in the Vacant Building Program for 3 months of the 12 for which it was registered; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the assessment for the vacant building fee of $1595, plus any accrued interests, be reduced to $531 and Council File No. RLH TA 14-600 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
