Authorizing an increase in the Parks and Recreation Grant Fund Budgets in the amount of $93,155 to reflect grant awards received from The Saint Paul Foundation and the F.R. Bigelow Foundation to aid and support the City's Right Track youth job program.
Body
WHEREAS, The Department of Parks and Recreation has received grant funding in the amounts of $51,290 from the F.R. Bigelow Foundation and $41,865 from the Saint Paul Foundation; and
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation has developed spending plans to best utilize these new funding sources to support the Right Track Youth Employment Program; and
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation wishes to establish new budgets for both of these funding sources in the City's Grant Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.01 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $93,155 in excess of those estimated in the current Grant Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes acceptance of the grant funds and approves these amendments for the Life-to-date Grant Budget.
