Purpose of Appeal:  Want to get permits.  (Appellant said that he would like to have permits pulled, but cannot because of this vacant building notice.)

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Per inspector comments, the house was condemned due to fire damage, no electricity, meter removed form house, gas meter locked, sanitation throughout and multiple fire code and property code violations throughout the interior and exterior of the house.
 
Body
WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Gary Southward to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 723 PLUM STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days and allow permits to be pulled once code compliance inspection has been applied for; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
