Title
Amending the financing and spending budgets in the Department of Fire and Safety in order to fully fund the $25,000 replacement of the Fire Station #14 concrete apron located at 111 Snelling Avenue North.
 
Body
WHEREAS, The Fire Station #14 concrete apron is proposed to be funded in the 2015 Capital Maintenance Program; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Fire and Safety feels that due to continued deterioration of Fire Station #14's concrete apron it has become a safety hazard; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Fire and Safety feels that the upcoming winter will only increase the safety hazards of the concrete apron; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Fire and Safety wish to replace the concrete apron before funding for the 2015 Capital Maintenance Program becomes available; and
WHEREAS, Funding will be made available from the 2014 Capital Maintenance Contingency and the 2013 CIB Contingency; now, therefore, be it
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $25,000 is available for transfer in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as theretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:
