Approving adverse action against the Auto Repair Garage license held by Fredy Auto Repair, LLC, d/b/a Fredy Auto Repair at 931 Atlantic Street.

WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Fredy Auto Repair, LLC d/b/a Fredy Auto Repair (License ID #20090000169) for the premises located at 931 Atlantic Street in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Violation dated September 16, 2014, stating that during an inspection of the licensed premises on August 28, 2014, a DSI inspector documented violations to license conditions #4 & #5; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง 310.05 (m) (1), the licensing office recommended an $500.00 matrix penalty and adding a new condition to the license; and
WHEREAS, licensee did respond to the Notice of Violation to contest the penalty and requested a public hearing which was held on October 15, 2014; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, Fredy Auto Repair, LLC d/b/a Fredy Auto Repair is hereby ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for violations to license condition #4 & #5 documented by a DSI Inspector during an inspection on August 28, 2014; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, the following new condition will be added to the license: "Licensee will place laminated placards that are impervious to weather in each car's dashboard clearly identifying the cars they have in their possession in order to distinguish on business from another."
