Title

Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County, Community Corrections, for wireless network and support services for their mobile CAD system.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD)  is authorized to enter into the attached Amendment to Joint Powers Agreement with the Ramsey County, Community Corrections, for wireless network and support services, and   

WHEREAS, this agreement shall provide Ramsey County a connection to the SPPD's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for their mobile CAD system for an annual fee; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorized the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement the attached agreement with the Ramsey County.
