Purpose of Appeal

Re:  Property in the attached deficiency list - The expense of replacing windows would be a hardship for me.  I will be operating my child care business in the basement.  These windows are on the second level.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Cheryl Barsten to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection at 915 HAWTHORNE AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Councilgrant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the two second story bedrooms; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
