Purpose of Appeal
After meeting with Inspector Migdal, I had a better idea of the problem.  According to the code, the windows meet all of the conditions, except the 24 inches in height.  The windows are 22.5 h (per inspector).

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Pam Fitch to an Updated Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 641 LEXINGTON PARKWAY NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 2-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the lower unit bedrooms 1 and 2; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
