Authorizing the Fire Department to enter into an agreement with Inver Hills Community College for the use of two ambulances for the EMS Academy.
Body
WHEREAS, Inver Hills Community College has offered to let the Fire Department use two ambulances for the EMS Academy, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of the ambulance rental is to provide basic life support training, academic enrichment, and career development for low income youth involved with the EMS Academy, and
WHEREAS, the value of the ambulance rental is $5,000.00 per year, and
RESOLVED, that proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the agreement with Inver Hills Community College for the ambulance rental, as provided by the Saint Paul Fire Department; a copy of said agreement is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
