Title

Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Mounds View to provide wireless network and support services for the Mounds View mobile CAD system.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD)  is authorized to enter into the attached amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Mounds View (Council Resolution 04-326) for wireless network and support services, and   

WHEREAS, this agreement shall amend the Joint Powers Agreement to provide the City of Mounds View a connection to the SPPD's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for their mobile CAD system for an annual fee; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorized the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement the attached agreement with the City of Mounds View.
