Authorizing the Police Department to enter into a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Maplewood to provide wireless network and support services for the Maplewood mobile CAD system.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) is authorized to enter into the attached Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Maplewood for wireless network and support services, and
WHEREAS, this agreement shall provide the City of Maplewood a connection to the SPPD's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for their mobile CAD system for an annual fee; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council authorized the City of Saint Paul to enter into, and Chief Thomas E. Smith to implement the attached agreement with the City of Maplewood.
