WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage, Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle Parts licenses and Alarm Permit (Renew) held by Ker Vang d/b/a MC Auto Repair & Tire Service (License ID #20040000115) for the premises located at 1202 Dale Street in Saint Paul, were the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated September 25, 2013, alleging licensee failed to pay delinquent license and late fees of $1,354.00 and submit the following information: 1) a current $5,000 Surety Bond and 2) a completed Certificate of Compliance Minnesota Workers' Compensation Law form; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the license; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit required information or request a hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit required information or request a hearing by October 7, 2013, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Auto Repair Garage, Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle Parts licenses and Alarm Permit (Renew) held by Ker Vang d/b/a MC Auto Repair & Tire Service are hereby suspended for failure to pay delinquent license and late fees of $1,354.00.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the license.
