Purpose of Appeal
We are appealing Deficiency #2 - 2nd floor bedroom window openable dimensions x 2 windows. Our windows are 20in x 26in which is very close to the min of 24in x 20in. Ours are essentially sideways, but certainly large enough for a child or adult to escape out of in the event of a fire.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Lisa Lambert to a Correction Notice - Foster Care Inspection at 1964 FREMONT AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 4-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in the 2nd floor bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
