Ratifying the assessments for Collection of Vacant Building Fees billed from May 11 to September 21, 2012. (File No. VB1305, Assessment No. 138804)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 13-15 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Fees billed during the time period of May 11 to September 21, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on March 20, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 13-92: 647 Holly Avenue;
RLH TA 13-100: 517 Hoyt Avenue;
RLH TA 13-115: 501 Kent Street;
RLH TA 13-93: 1691 Leone Avenue;
RLH TA 13-101: 1587 Park Street;
RLH TA 13-97: 586 Rice Street;
RLH TA 13-103: 987 Rice Street;
RLH TA 13-122: 1328 Searle Street; and
RLH TA 13-95: 1389 University Avenue West;
Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are herby in all respects ratified; And, Be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
