Ratifying the assessments for Demolition Services from July 2012 (NON-C.D.B.G). (File No. J1302C, Asmt No. 132001)
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 12-1778 accepted the Report of Completion for Demolition of Vacant, Nuisance and/or Hazardous Structures from the month of July 2012 (NON-C.D.B.G.); and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on January 2, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; Now, Therefore; Be It
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Ch. 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are herby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA XX-X - 1901 Maryland Avenue East (to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on January 8, 2013 and City Council Public Hearing on January 16, 2013); and Be It
RESOLVED, that the assessment be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
