Initiating a study of Section 65.701 of the Zoning Code pertaining to Auto Body Shops.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Zoning Code found in chapters 60 through 69 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code is established to promote and to protect the public health, safety, morals, aesthetics, economic viability and general welfare of the community; and
WHEREAS, Section 61.801(a) of the Zoning Code authorizes the Saint Paul City Council to initiate amendments to the code; and
WHEREAS, the current Section 65.701 - Auto Body Shop of the Saint Paul Zoning Code does not address the use adequately;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council initiates a zoning study to consider text amendments to Section 65.701 - Auto Body Shop of the Zoning Code to clarify language and recommend zoning districts appropriate for this use.
