Approving adverse action against the Sanitary Disposal Vehicle license held by Kane Transport, Inc., d/b/a Kane Transport.

WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Sanitary Disposal Vehicle license held by Kane Transport, Inc. d/b/a Kane Transport (License ID #20070004537) for the City of Saint Paul, by Notice of Intent to Suspend License dated August 23, 2012, alleging licensee failed to submit a current certificate of Automobile Liability insurance for the coverage period of January 1, 2012 through January 1, 2013 and current vehicle information; and
WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code ยง310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the license; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to submit required information or request a hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to submit required information or request a hearing by September 3, 2012, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Sanitary Disposal Vehicle license held by Kane Transport, Inc. d/b/a Kane Transport is hereby suspended will remain suspended until the licensee submits a current certificate of Automobile Liability insurance for the coverage period of January 1, 2012 through January 1, 2013 and current vehicle information.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is also ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the license. Payment of such penalty shall be made within thirty (30) days of the date of the adoption of this resolution.
