Item #1 - I believe this may be nearly impossible & this buildilng may be grandfathered in. May have other way to resolve the problem by using the space for storage, not a rental unit as being used now.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Riaz Hussain to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection at 1170 SEVENTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension until October 1, 2012 for compliance on the basement fire rated floor/ceiling; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
