Purpose of Appeal
...We are asking for more time to get bids and work done on the major issues, as well as clarification on what we are expected to do to comply.  We will certainly correct the minor deficiencies...  (See letter for details.)

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Linnea Forsell, Jeff Johnson, and Lucy Johnson; on behalf of LJL Properties; to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Inspection Correction Notice at 1106 SEVENTH STREET WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to December 19 for Items 1, 6, 7, 12, 22, 23 in the October 19, 2011 order, grant an extension to September 1, 2012 for the drainage; grant 90 days on the balance of the orders, including the posts and support, Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter, with the  exceptions of item 2, which would require the property be re-graded, extending the deadline for compliance to July 1, 2012 for the balance of the orders, and the Council noted that the balance of the orders are now in compliance, including the repair/replacement of water-damaged supports.
