Authorizing the City to enter into the Delegated Contract Process (DCP) Agency Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
Body
WHEREAS, on some City of Saint Paul transportation related projects, the City finances either whole or in part the projects with federal funding; and
WHEREAS; the City desire that the Minnesota Department of Transportation act as the City's agent in accepting Federal Aid on the City's behalf for the construction, improvement or enhancement of the transportation financed whole or in part by federal funds; and
WHEREAS the previous Delegated Contract Process (DCP) Agency Agreement No. 84218, adopted in March of 2003 (Council File 03-286) will be superseded by this Agreement Number 99922; now
THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36 the Commissioner of Transportation be appointed as the Agent of the City of Saint Paul to accept as its agent federal aid funds which may be made available for eligible transportation related project; and
THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Saint Paul enter in MN/DOT Agreement 99922 with the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation and that the Mayor and proper city officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the agreement.
