Amending Council File AR 11-100 to delete the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Vacant Building Fees in May 2011 at 1028 ROSS AVENUE. (File No. VB1111, Assessment No. 118082)

WHEREAS, on September 7, 2011, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File AR 11-100, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for collection of delinquent vacant building fees in May 2011. (File No. VB1111, Assessment No. 118082); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1028 Ross Avenue, being described as: Terrys Addition E 37 5o/1oo Ft Of Lot 7 Blk 13 with the property identification number 28-29-22-34-0018 was assessed an amount of $1,235.00 for collection of delinquent vacant building fees; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections recommends deleting the assessment as the fee was prepaid by an agent of the owner on October 18, 2011;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the reduction of $1,235.00, plus any accrued interests, be refunded by the Office of Financial Services and Council File AR 11-100 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
