Purpose of Appeal
Basement fuel tank - We are appealing because we bought this property in 1997. Since then, we never received any notification about this and going further in the history no others owners received any notification neither. I assume that tank is in the same place for forty year plus. My question is why so many years this issue arises. For me, it is no fair to pay a big price of this matter after so many years. To remove this fuel tank will be a heavy economic burden for me in this time of financial stress. Please take this in your considerations and give me a favorable fair decision from your appealing office. Thank you very much.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Edward Valdes to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 168 GEORGE STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends denying the appeal and grant 1 year for compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
