Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, May 13, 2025, teleconference between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  This building--my building--is not vacant.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  May 7, 2025

Inspector/Key Staff:  Rick Gavin

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant had the original vacant notice that expired today 5/6/25. The next day, staff received the current warning letter dated 5/7/25.

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Gladys Igbo to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 385 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive vacant building fee for 90 days to August 6, 2025; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
