Purpose of Appeal:  This is not rental / and after father passes, house will belong to son

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Staff suggested that this appeal be heard via teleconference, but the appellant said he wanted to come in. 

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of James Cran to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection (which includes vacate order) at 293 BURLINGTON ROAD, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and property must be vacated unless documentation is submitted no later than Friday, August 16 indicating occupant has legal right to occupy property; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
