*Compliance Recheck - 5/30/24 - COMPLETED INSPECTION 5/29/24.  AT TIME OF INSPECTION, VAN THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED ON LAST VA HAS BEEN COVERED.  ALSO, A NEW VEHICLE HAS BEEN PARKED AT THE PROPERTY THAT IS NOT ON THE PARKING PAD, BUT APPEARS OPERABLE AND CURRENT TABS.  PHOTOS TAKEN, NEW VA SENT.

                      

06/10/2024:

*Compliance Recheck - 6/10/24 - not done at inspection 6/7/24.  Photos attached, ec sent on 6/10/24.

 

Related to CN:

*Compliance Recheck - 5/13/24 - completed exterior inspection on 5/10/24 per DK.  I went with SPPD due to past threats from PO.  Per DK, writing up 30 day exterior CN for missing front stairs, extension cord use, securing garage, egress window without permit, and ground cover.  Photos taken, CN sent.  Immediately after inspection, I called and notified animal control of the unsecured ducks and chickens roaming  on the property and vacant lot.

 

*Recheck - 5/14/24 - Left vm for PO afternoon of 5/13 to update and explain orders to PO, no call back as of now.

                      

06/13/2024:

*Compliance Recheck - 6/13/24 - NOT DONE SENDING EC, PHOTOS ATTACHED.  GARAGE DOOR HAS BEEN REPAIRED, REST HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED.  *per note, not sending EC, but there is an EC letter on file.

                      

06/18/2024:

*Recheck - 6/18/24 - PO left vm requesting clarification on orders 6/17/24. I called PO back and explained the vehicle and exterior orders.  I explained he can talk to zoning about combining the lots and ask about site plan for parking.  I explained he needs to talk to trades about his permits.  I also explained the reasons for our enforcement actions and that the PO needs to remove the vehicles or bring into compliance, as well as come into compliance with the exterior orders.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Assessment Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with [type of tax roll and time period] [RE Project #] and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

 

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby [ratified and payable in one installment, ratified and reduced, deleted; ratified and made payable over X years).
