First Making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 1006 THIRD STREET EAST in Council File RLH RR 22-30.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 22-30 on September 28, 2022 which granted 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 1006 Third Street East; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on March 28, 2023 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were not abated but will continue the $5000 performance deposit and grant an additional 180 days for completion of the rehabilitation; pending submission; now, therefore, be it
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on March 28, 2023 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions not abated and will review plans and financing for completing the work in order to grant and additional 180 days for the rehabilitation and to continue the $5,000 performance deposit; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council stays action on its findings pending recommendation of the legislative hearing officer.
