Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Office of Financial Empowerment in the amount of $400,000 to correct grant carry forward in the 2023 adopted budget.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul applied for and was awarded Whole Family Systems grant funds from Minnesota Department of Human Services in 2021, as outlined in RES PH 21-264; and

WHEREAS, during the creation of the 2023 adopted budget, grant funding carry forward for the Whole Family Systems was budgeted twice; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to section 10.07.3 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that the appropriation funds should be decreased by $400,000;and

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves amending the 2023 budget as specified in the attached financial analysis.
