Appeal of Rob Yang, Wilandeth LLC, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1573 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST.

 

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, February 7, 2023, teleconference between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  We have current building permit on remodeling the business. Work on building has been slow due to material shortage and contractors being busier than normal.  Framing and plumbing was roughed in inside within the last month.  Schedule delays due to material shortage.  Now, a lot of exterior work is weather permitting.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Rob Yang, Wilandeth LLC, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1573 UNIVERSITY AVENUE WEST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days to April 20, 2023; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
