Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of hats, gloves, mittens, pillows, stuffed animals, blankets, fleece materials and dog bone toys valued at $4,330.40 from the Northern Express LLC.

WHEREAS, the Northern Express LLC has offered to donate 170 hats, 5 dog bone toys, 8 pairs of gloves, 47 pairs of mittens, 2 pillows, 5 stuffed animals, 17 fleece blankets, and 12 fleece materials valued at $4,330.40 to the Saint Paul Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation of the hats, gloves, mittens, pillows, stuffed animals, blankets, fleece materials, and dog bone toys from the Northern Express LLC; and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to have these items distributed to those in need through our CARES program and community partners; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council accepts this donation of hats, gloves, mittens, pillows, stuffed animals, blankets, fleece materials, and dog bone toys form the Northern Express LLC and thank this organization for their generous donation.
