Authorizing the Saint Paul Library Agency to accept the PNC Children’s Library Transformation Project donation for the Rondo Community Library from the Heart of America Foundation.
Body
WHEREAS, the Heart of America Foundation wishes to donate the PNC Children’s Library Transformation Project to the Saint Paul Public Library for the Rondo Community Library; and
WHEREAS, the PNC Children’s Transformation Project includes the donation of décor, technology, books, program materials, furnishings, finishes, lighting, community celebration upon completion, and purchased services and volunteers to complete the work, with a value of not-to-exceed $95,000, to transform the children’s play and learn space; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Library Agency wishes to accept this donation from the Heart of America; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council finds that there is a public purpose in improving the children’s play and learn space at the Rondo Community Library; Now, Therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby accepts the donation of the PNC Children’s Library Transformation Project for the Rondo Community Library.
