Authorizing an increase in the Parks and Recreation Grant Fund Budget in the amount of $10,000 to reflect the funding awarded from the Capital Region Watershed District for Marydale Park/Loeb Lake shoreland enhancement activities grant.
Body
WHEREAS, Parks and Recreation has been awarded grant funding in the amount of $10,000 from the Capital Region Watershed District to provide financial assistance for various individuals or organizations to protect and improve water resources; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to establish a new budget in the Environmental Services Grant Fund to receive the contribution revenue of $10,000 from the Capital Region Watershed District; and
WHEREAS, this funding does not require the use of any matching funds; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.01 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $10,000 in excess of those estimated in the current Grant Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes these amendments for the Life-to-date Grant Budget.
