Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to amend the management agreement with Be Graceful Bakery and Catering, LLC to operate food and beverage concessions at several Parks and Recreation facilities, to include the Battle Creek Recreation Center.
Body
WHEREAS, the City and Be Graceful entered into an Agreement on September 4, 2020 for the management of food and beverage concessions at multiple parks facilities which terminates on September 6, 2023; and
WHEREAS, that agreement requires Be Graceful to make commission payments to the City based on monthly gross revenue generated; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to have concessions available for the public during the winter sports season at Battle Creek Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, Be Graceful has successfully met all contractual terms and has the ability to provide concessions out of the Battle Creek Recreation Center during the winter sports season; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Parks Commission recommended approval of the amendment (Res #22-12) at its October 13, 2022 meeting; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to amend the management agreement with Be Graceful Bakery and Catering, LLC to operate food and beverage concessions at several Parks and Recreation facilities, to include the Battle Creek Recreation Center.
