WHEREAS, Fredy Auto Repair LLC d/b/a Fredy Auto Repair (License ID #20220000743) applied for an Auto Repair Garage and Second Hand Dealer - Motor Vehicle Parts license for the premises located at 601 Rice Street in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no objections to approval of the above-mentioned license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of the Auto Repair Garage and Second Hand Dealer - Motor Vehicle Parts license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, an Auto Repair Garage and Second Hand Dealer - Motor Vehicle Parts license is hereby approved for Fredy Auto Repair LLC d/b/a Fredy Auto Repair (License ID #20220000743) for the premises located at 601 Rice Street in Saint Paul with the following conditions:
1. Maintain in good order and repair the paved parking lot surface, landscaping, fencing, a gate and lighting around the lot west of the building in accordance with Capitol Area Architectural and Planning Board (CAAPB) requirements.
2. Maintain the boulevard.
3. Outside storage of parts or vehicles are prohibited by CAAPB zoning rules. Vehicle parts (tires, oil or similar items) will not be stored outside. Trash will be stored in a covered dumpster.
4. Vehicle salvage is prohibited by CAAPB zoning rules.
5. All vehicles on the lot shall be licensed and operable.
6. All vehicles parked outdoors on the lot must appear completely assembled with no major body parts missing.
7. No vehicle sales is allowed.
8. No auto body repair and or painting of vehicles is permitted.
9. No repair of vehicles may occur on the exterior of the lot or in the public right-of-way.
