Resolution of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) Board of Commissioners approving a 2023 maximum property tax levy for the HRA

WHEREAS, staff presented the 2023 HRA proposed budget to the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota (“HRA”) for its consideration; and
WHEREAS, the HRA Board of Commissioners, in order to comply with the State of Minnesota’s Truth-In-Taxation laws, Minn. Stat. section 275.065, subd. 1, must certify a proposed maximum property tax levy payable in 2023 to Ramsey County on or before September 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the HRA proposed maximum property tax levy payable in 2023, is $5,657,150, calculated as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota, does hereby certify to the Ramsey County Auditor that the proposed maximum tax levy for the HRA for taxes payable in 2023 as: $5,657,150.
