Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to add MnDOT and Saint Paul Regional Water funding to the Robert Street Reconstruction Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul and MnDOT plan to reconstruct Robert Street between the Mississippi River Bridge to I 94; and
WHEREAS, MnDOT has agreed to pay for a majority of the design expenses for the project; and
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Regional Water (SPRWS) is funding the water main design services; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to add the $2,323,115 of MnDOT funding and $145,001 of SPRWS funding to the Robert Street Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $2,468,116; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $2,468,116 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
