Authorizing the appropriate City officials to enter into Memorandums of Understanding with participating VISTA Sites.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul will enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) for the period of the 2021-2022 VISTA program year, pursuant to which it will act as a Sponsor organization; and
WHEREAS,
* Saint Paul Mayor’s Office (3 VISTA Members)
* Saint Paul Office of Financial Empowerment (2 VISTA Members)
* Saint Paul Human Resources (1 VISTA Member)
* Minnesota Children’s Museum (1 VISTA Member)
* Minnesota Community Care (3 VISTA Members)
* Northeast Seniors for Better Living (1 VISTA Member)
* Twin Cities Community Agricultural Land Trust (1 VISTA Member)
* Saint Paul Public Schools Office of Early Learning (1 VISTA Member)
* Ramsey County Public Health (1 VISTA Member)
* The Free Book Buggie (1 VISTA Member)
will be Participating Sites with a VISTA member placed at each Site; and
WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the process with the Participating Sites the City needs to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with each Participating Site; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul supports Saint Paul VISTA Program involvement and authorizes the appropriate city officials to enter into Memorandums of Understanding as outlined in the attached document.
