Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to add Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act (CRRSAA) funding to the 2022 Wabasha Street Reconstruction and Capital City Bikeway Project.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City is planning to reconstruct Wabasha Street from Kellogg Boulevard to 7th Street, which includes constructing a segment of the Capital City Bikeway along the west side of Wabasha Street; and

WHEREAS, the City has received Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act funding; and

WHEREAS, Public Works is recommending to use these funds on the Wabasha Street Reconstruction and Capital City Bikeway Project in order for the construction limits to be expanded from 6th Street to 7th Street; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to add the $988,992 of CRRSAA funding to the 2022 Wabasha Street Reconstruction and Capital City Bikeway Project; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $988,992; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $988,992 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
