Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $600,000 to accept the grant from the Pohlad Family Foundation for a pilot program to optimize social services response and resources. 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has applied for and received a grant of $600,000 from the Pohlad Family Foundation for a pilot program to optimize the City's social service response and resources to the residents; and

WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the grant received; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $600,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2022 budget: Now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the grant and approves the changes to the 2022 budget as specified in the attached financial analysis.
