Authorizing the Saint Paul Library Agency to Accept the PNC Children’s Library Transformation Project Donation for the Arlington Hills Library from the Heart of America Foundation.

WHEREAS, the Heart of America Foundation wishes to donate the PNC Children’s Library Transformation Project to the Saint Paul Public Library for the Arlington Hills Library; and
WHEREAS, the PNC Children’s Transformation Project includes the donation of décor, technology, books, program materials, furnishings, finishes, lighting, community celebration upon completion, and purchased services and volunteers to complete the work, with a value of not-to-exceed $114,000, to transform the children’s play and learn space; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Library Agency wishes to accept this donation from the Heart of America;
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Library Board finds that there is a public purpose in improving the children’s play and learn space at the Arlington Hills Library; Now, Therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Library Board hereby accepts the donation of the PNC Children’s Library Transformation Project for the Arlington Hills Library.
