Recognizing the updated Street Maintenance Service Program assessment policy as current City policy.

 

Body

WHEREAS, under City Charter § 3.01 “[t]he executive power shall be vested in the mayor. Subject to the provisions of this Charter and the ordinances, the mayor shall control and direct the administration of the city's affairs”; and

 

WHEREAS, under City Charter § 3.01.4 “[t]he mayor shall direct and supervise the administration of all departments, offices and agencies of the city, except as otherwise expressly provided herein”; and

 

WHEREAS, administration of the street maintenance service program, created by St. Paul Administrative Code Section 62, includes setting the policies to administer the program; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has been advised of the policies as codified by the Real Estate Section of the Office of Financial Services in cooperation with the Department of Public Works, and such policies are available online at stpaul.gov/assessments; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul acknowledges receipt of the Street Maintenance Service Program assessment policies and that they supersede any previous policies related to the street maintenance service program, including the policies established for the former Right-of-Way Maintenance Program.
